London tomorrow, can't wait. Started a new band in free period today, called Thunder Thunder. I've decided we are going to be neo-classicist thrash. Watch this space.

Shotter's Nation

Just listened to a new Babyshambles song, "The Lost Art of Murder" from their new album. Heard it a while back when Pete Doherty performed it on jonathon ross, and I think it is possibly one of the best songs of this year. Definitely a return to form for him. On this note I am going to compile a list of the five best songs i've heard this year so far... this is partly due to my boredom... anyways:

1.All My Friends - LCD Soundsystem
2.The Next Untouchable - Cajun Dance Party
3. Birds - Kate Nash
4.TTHHEE PPAARRTTYY - Justice
5. The Lost Art of Murder - Babyshambles

Followed ever so closely by Down Boy by Yeah Yeah Yeahs... Looking at, its actually quite a melancholy list. Maybe that says something about me. I anyone actually reads this, leave us a comment on our myspace of your five best songs this year, would be interesting to see what you come up with.

Trowse Fest - Skeletons and Mayonnaise

Today we played at trowse "t" festival, a rather random affair with a dog show and bands. The day started promising, with yet another time change for our set, followed by chips with extra mayonnaise - "friendship in a sauce". Oh yes. Hours we're filled with weird conversations and football, and at twenty to four we finally got to play our set. We did so with our faces painted white, the result of having our faces painted as skulls and not actually having any time to get the skull parts painted... I guess this is besides the point, we managed to play our best set in a while, and I think we went down fairly well. We were also pronounced "loudest band of the day" which was nice.

Now I'm bored, with nothing to do and nothing to watch.

Mercury Prize

So, klaxons won. And don't they deserve it, what an album. Seen them three times and they are intense, the pic above is from the UEA gig.

And lets be honest, imagine if the view won...
